1.MY STORY

I was born in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines on October 28, 1969, this was the year man has first step on the moon. I was the  4th  of 5 sons of Judge Leonides Jovellanos Llamas Sr. of Dagupan City, Pangasinan and Leticia Diaz-Delfin Llamas of Panitan, Capiz. She is the LMD chief of DENR. Papa and Mama were classmates in the College of Law in Far Eastern University in Manila.

And my 4 brothers are Jose Hugo (named after our two grandfathers) Paul Leo (Poet and Artist) Joseph Mario (Law Graduate now works  for Dept .of Agriculture) and our youngest is Leonides D. Llamas Jr. is a Nurse in the U.S. Most of us were born in Manila  but we transferred in Iloilo City by 1975. Both Hugo and Paul has passed away. 

I am Married to Anna Lissa Yap Rivera (Group Operation Manager-SM Food Group) We meet in  Roxas City. We have  4  kids Deo Michael  Gabriel (23) Registered Nurse, Paul David(21) 3rd yr Finance and Management student, John Peter(19)Civil Engineering student, and Divine Grace(12) Grade 5. Currently, we are residing at Block 15 Lot 19 Phase 2 Alta Tierra Village Jaro, Iloilo City.

My given  name is  Deo  Antonio  D.  Llamas. Deo means  God, Antonio means  Indispensable one and Llamas means to call. So  it is Indispensable to call unto God. This is usually how I would introduce myself in meetings.

As a kid, I was spiritually inclined and prayerful. I grew up in a very religious Roman Catholic environment my father was an ex- seminarian and my mother was active in the church and daily prayers and reading of the Bible was encourage in the house.

I was active in our choir the Sweet Voice of Salvation and the same time an altar boy assisting our parish priest during the mass. But my hunger for God grew and I was seeking the truth and came to a turning point in my life that I have to live my Catholic faith and embrace the biblical truth of Christianity.

There was a Great Revival and  move of the Spirit of the 80's Involved myself in  Agape  Campus for  Jesus  Fellowship and Christ Ambassadors of FGCC, Inter-Faith, Upper Room ministry and much more. So after high school, I wanted to go to a Bible school.

But our pastor advised that I take a college course first and timely my aunt Tita Belle Alcantara will sponsor my college course if I take up Nursing. So I agreed. I Finished my BS Nursing at the University of Iloilo in 1991 and is a License Registered Nurse.

I studied at the University of San Agustin for my High School 1982-1986 and my  Elementary at West Visayas State University 1976-1982 and started my schooling at San Jose College for my Kinder Class.  

As a kid, I would consider myself "The most traveled kid." Weekly when mama goes for field inspection. I am the one who accompanies her in different  places, towns and Provinces in Iloilo, Aklan, Guimaras, as well  as our frequent family gatherings in Manila, Capiz or Bacolod City.Traveling by air, land, and sea.

I had fun and really enjoyed my childhood. Thank God for that. I Love traveling. So when I got married  I decided to be in sales because of the nature of the job and pays better and which requires traveling.

I have work for different consumer companies, as a distributor specialist for Zuellig Distributors Inc.-Kraft Gen. Foods 1995-1998, San Miguel Corp-Campo Carne 1998-1999, Sara Lee Phils.1999-2000.

I ensure sales target and profitability must be delivered, assist in the distributors day to day operation, help in sell in -sell out. inventory management, FIFO. training our distributor salesman, supervised in the merchandising drive, do competitive report.

But as my children are growing up I decided to engage in real estate where I could spend more time with them I have been a Licensed Realtor for 11 years now but am In my 16th year of real estate business already. I am a PRC License Broker and Appraiser 

I dream of becoming a developer someday if God wills it then it will be done. I would like to start building low-cost housing for that is the major problem we have in the Philippines and in our city, Iloilo City for we have lots of informal settlers here. The name of my real estate group is Kingdom Builder.

We have a small restaurant that we started it's  Susana's  Diner located  at the 33 Lopez Jaena St. Jaro Iloilo City. Along  CPU road beside Jesena reality, a block after Mormons church. But we have to close shop.

I am a member of Iloilo City Host Lions Club, Iloilo Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Iloilo City Realtors Board Inc. PAREB, PHILRES, CREBA, Sumakwelan Iloilo Inc.  Toastmaster International, PENTASI b, WVSUAAI, USAAAI and a Board of Director and Bank Treasurer of First Community Bank Inc. With  Bacolod City as head office and with branches in Bago City and Iloilo City. I am also a Sales Executive for Lifter Systems Inc. an Elevator and Escalator Company which our Partner SJEC of China is the biggest  Original Elevator Manufacturer in the World.

About my interest and talents, I love to sing, I draw and paint, I write poems and speeches, love to read the bible, books on history, biography and business and self-help books, a  chess player, badminton, tennis, bowling, billiards, and poker. I do training and is comfortable with people, loves the internet and meeting new friends and network on Facebook. I have a great interest in politics. I have run for  City Councilor here in Iloilo City but my time has not yet come. I still love to travel.

I love spending time with my wife and kids and growing together. I am Grateful and Glad to know that God cares for me and my family. And I know God is not finished with me yet. I love my mother. I am the one taking good care of her. She is  81  years old. This is what's keeping me busy lately. My father passed along time. And I love them both Thankful for all the love they  have bestowed on me. I  was born  in the year  of a  great breakthrough. A Big Leap for humanity and science, as man has conquered the Moon. I too am expecting my Great Breakthrough in my life now.

2.WHY  DO  I  WANT  TO  WRITE?

Why do I want to write? For many reasons  why do, I  want to write. I believe that Written Words are Powerful. Words can change this world.  Ancient  Stories of long ago  HAS  CHANGE  THE  COURSE OF HISTORY. As a kid, I love to read and travel even until now. It never stops to  amaze me learning  and seeing  new people, places, things, and experience. For when Growth stops decays begin. I can best express myself in writing and  dream of making a book myself one of this day of Something of Interest.  

      Why do I want to write? Words are eternal. As the great book says "In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God. It is a UNIVERSAL  NEED  TO  EXPRESS  ONE'S  CREATIVITY. It is finding the divine in each and every one of us and the need for immortality and a sense of legacy. Being a writer gives us this opportunity documenting moments, special events, ideas, aspirations and exploring the threshold of human emotions and lessons which if published can be enjoyed by generations.

 Why do I want to write? I came from a family of leaders, writers, educators, religious, linguist, lawyers, politicians, artist, poets, painters, musicians, journalist and history makers. Maybe its  in my blood in  my genes ha ha ha. A familial tendency and influence  nurtured and encouraged  by examples and choice of careers. Loving knowledge,  ELEVATES  THE  MIND  AND  THE  SOUL. Finding joy, faith, passion, and fulfillment is a reward and consolation in itself. And it is an honor to follow this family tradition and to be the best at one.

      Why do I want to write? I excel in things that interest me. And maybe right the wrongs and make things right. In my own little way bring hope to the hopeless, make people smile and appreciate the Beauty of Life, Finding the way to those who are lost. Entertain while  Educating, Informing, Challenging and  Motivating People to  Move to  Action. At  THE  SAME TIME  EARNING   WHILE  LEARNING. I  enjoy writing, loving it as it as ideas flow. And it would be my pleasure to be around  telling, writing stories of great profound.

5.MY BIRTHDAY

I've   grown, used & accustom to it

8.I NEED MY WINGS BACK

withdrawing       painfully       in      my     Isolation

protecting   my    heart    and   hurting   emotions

nursing  my  broken wings  with   hopeful  notions

Darkness    fills    me   and    Anxiety   besets   me

Looking for the Light  that  I might set things right

Assuring  myself  that   everything   will  work  out

In due time Life will indeed   be Gracious  and kind

I need my wings back,need not be of eagles wing

Guess age  has mellowed  me down, wiser in  time

Forget mistake  of   yesteryears  moving  forward

Pen is hard out but soft inside

Are tender juicy when things get rough

Women of substance watch and learn

24.MY LIFE, MY FAMILY, MY GOD

Yesterday  gazing   at  the multitude  of  Stars  in  the evening  sky

Looking back in  my  40  years  of  existence  in  this Great abode

Grateful  was  the  word   that  best   express  what  I  was feeling

As  I  ponder deep  down  in  the  depth   of my  soul...  I am  Glad

Knowing   that   God   cares   for   me   and   my  whole    family  ...

God is the  Giver  of  Life  and  we  owe  everything  to Him  alone

Literally we  don't own  our life   which we  just  lease  it  in   eased

There are Times  that our sense of values ,  self   belief and   faith

Are  tested. Taking  accountability   of our  existence  and  destiny

Where  and  who  we are and  where  and   who  we  want  to   be

Now  is  such a  time a  crossroad   awaiting   for  a    breakthrough

I  have  seen  the  past and  embraces  all  of   its  lessons learned

Saying    loving   and   living as thou  it  will  be the  last of my days

At  the same time  Hopeful  and   Expects  Greater   Days  to  come

Finding  Lifes  Path  that  God  Has  Plan  Designed  and   Purposed 

Born Oct 28,1969 in Quezon City ,Metro Manila. The  4th of 5 sons 

of  Judge Leonides Jovellanos Llamas Sr.  of Dagupan, Pangasinan 

and   Leticia Diaz- Delfin  Llamas of  Panitan, Capiz, LMD -Div. chief

Stayed  in  Metro Manila ,the Capital City,  a  few wonderful  years 

UST,Luneta,Cubao was my Playground and my Favorite  memories

We   grew up  in  a very  religious  catholic  background, my  father

was  an  ex-seminarian  and  my  mother was  a  prayerful  woman,

daily  prayers and  reading of  the  bible  was  encourage  at  home

Our  family  and  relatives  are  closely  knitted   we  regularly  meet 

during  Holidays, Fiestas,  All  Saints day, Christmas  and  Reunions

 As I turned 6 we transferred to region 6 to Iloilo,  The City  of  First

What impress me most was it's Pine trees and majestic long beach

And this is where I learned all about languages, science  and  math

culture, history, heroism, nationalism, faith, hope  and  even ... love 

The  Athens of the Philippines, has  mark my heart, mind  and  soul

I  started my formal education in  San Jose College as   Kinder  One

Learned my  elementary at West Visayas State University Class' 82

Enjoyed my high school at  University of San Agustin  from 1982-86

Finished my BS in Nursing at University Of Iloilo as  Scholar  in 1991

Department  Editor for our Yearbook  and  Scholar,  Scholar  ni  Tita

Outside of School I learned Responsibilities at Home and  my  Family

Being  the  water boy,  the cook, the   gardener,  the  goat  herder,

the pet lover from fish, to layers and  fighting cocks, to  doves, pigs 

and monkeys, cat and dogs we've got it all, Like Farmville and zoo's

In FACEBOOK,I have love nurtured and value nature and  Life   too

From  my   travel   I  have   seen   great  abundance   and   scarcity,

of  different  people,  systems,  skills   and  technology, of  Ill's   and

success of  community. Knowledge  indeed  will  lead us  to  progress

to  move forward and  not  regress .Traveling  is  like reading  books

too,  the more you  travel   the  more   knowledgeable  you  become.

I am a Truth Seeker ...I  soaked  myself in  libraries  and  book  shops  

Encyclopedias, to  text books, magazines  to   comics, and  statistics

Thirsty for knowledge, curious  and my  imagination  is  always active

with movies, TV's, radio, seminars and sermons to stimulate  it  more

Above all the Bible  for  no Greater Truth than  the True Love of God.

In my Quest for True Faith and Spirituality. I search wide  and  deep

Serve as Altar Boy and choir of Sweet Voice of Salvation, Alta Tierra

Village Parish. Joined the Charismatic Movement caught   the  fire  of

Gods  Grace  and  Mercy. Read  the   Bible  in  its  simplicity seek  the

Biblical Christianity and its Purity Followed  God  where  he  leads me   

By  nature  I am  a Man of Sales,  In  school  selling was my vocation

from candy's, chocolate, gums, ice pops ,juices, comics, books, pencil,

pen, papers, stickers, stationary, spiders and shells name it  I  have it.

In 1992 I was starting my own family I engaged in many  businesses.

From rtw, plastic wares, restaurant, construction and fitness gym too.

I made it as My Career applied a job for Zuellig -Kraft Foods in  1995

As  Distributors Specialist for Panay and Negros handling distributors

Availed of the company's offer in 98 due to downsizing and economic

crisis.Transfer to San Miguel Campo Carne as Area Market Developer

in 1999 -2000 and Sara Lee as Key Account Manager for Panay till 2001

A new start for me in 2001. I started my Career in real estate. Moving 

in  this  new  Direction  Gave  me more  time  to  spend with my family.

It  is  the  Highest  paying  Hard  job and the  lowest paying easy Job

In  this industry you must not only  be knowledgeable but must  know

a lot of people too.You  must be  Prayerful and kneelidgeable as well

As an artist I do best to express in poems and playing with emotions, 

words, rhythm and rhyming  them as you do, doing  phrases  or  just

A line or two, express a thought. I  love  to  sing  songs  of passion,

 of reasons, of love, faith and Joy .Draw and paint a thing of  beauty

which tells  of a  Great  love story a Drama or portray a living History

My Family has been a blessing to me.My wife Tata or Anna Lissa  has 

been a good helpmate and Inspires me. MyAngel, Deo Michael Gabriel

(23), My King, Paul David (21), My Rock, John Peter (19), My Grace,

Divine  Grace (12) To me they are  God's Gift and My Great Treasure

That's why I am  Glad  and  Grateful  to  God  as  Ever for  My  Family

At 40 My Life is just beginning I will live it day by day, Explore  all new

avenues where I will grow, know, share, serve and excel In every way.

A new leased of life was given  to me  with my children as my mission

Will grow together in harmony.Teach  them the  lessons of life.  Guide

them, correct them and lead them to the knowledge of Almighty  God  

Make them a productive  member of this society of men, as I grow Old

May I  and my wife enjoy the Good Life as we Look back at our Distant

past. Of sacrifice that we  Have sown, Bears Good Fruit that will stand

the test of times and  Will stand as a  Testament of God's  Care for me

and my family. My Life, My Family, My God. My God who believes in me

And with the help of the Divine

what lack will there be, no disputes

on territory and resources

Conflicts, tensions be diminish

Just measures are instituted

Distribution of basic needs

and equal opportunities

Will Bless our land with Prosperity

Abundance, Substance and Unity

More than enough to be shared around

Giving us this chance to give
and be a blessing to those in great need
