WE HAVE A FATHER

                                                   
                                                      We have a father we call him Papa

Makes us feel special in his own way


He was not an OFW but always 

Away from our home and family

As his job requires of him often


Many Times did he had a career change

From Police captain in the intelligence
To Comelec registrar in Pasay and Judge 

FEU LLB graduate together with Mama 
Was an honor student and Campus leader
He was a writer and a book reader

Wanted to become a priest but it changed
When his beloved mom died unexpectedly
He grieved greatly for that lost in the seminary

Found his new life direction and took up law
Saw love at the first sight of a Capizena
And never let go from that time on forward

I remember my early childhood memories
He often brings me to go carts and bump cars
At Cubao in Araneta and UST playgrounds

In the 70's my mom decided to transfer
In Iloilo to be near her family
Papa stayed in Manila due his work

He would come home 3 to 4 times a year
Have this creative idea of making his bag 
His piggy bag which he fills with coins

Most of the time we divide it among us 5
And have a game of lucky 9 till morning
or betting in a game of chess as brothers

He would often bring gifts of toys and shoes 
Latest trends of gadgets and dresses
He makes sure everyone has his share

To me he was my friend and father
And to me he poured out his secrets
Not known even to my other brothers

This Fathers Day I thank God for my father
And Hope all of us remember this further
Our Fathers needs our love too let's show we care

They had four sons: Carlos, Jr., (“Mike”) in 1925; Gregorio Vicente (“Greg”) in 1927; Ricardo Jose (“Dick”) in 1933; and Roberto Rey(“Bobby”) in 1938. ( See pictures below) Gen. Carlos P. Ronald Llamas Ronald Llamas, current Presidential Adviser on Political Affairs Ronald Llamas  is a prominent Filipino activist and the current political adviser of President  Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III . He is also the president of the  Akbayan Citizen's Action Party , which is a coalition partner of the  Liberal Party  (LP). Prior to his appointment in his current position, he was already a key adviser of President Aquino and LP president and former senator  Mar Roxas . Aquino also earlier appointed Llamas as member of the board of directors of the  Development Bank of the Philippines .
